4 habits Iβm establishing this spring
springtime always feels like the true beginning of a new year to me. I have much more success implementing new habits this time of year, when the days are longer and I can feel the world waking up around me. here are 4 habits Iβm working on establishing this spring.
π± eat more fiber
I always feel better when I eat more fiber, and spring is the perfect time to reevaluate my fiber intake and think about ways to include more fiber in my meals. Iβve been making big batches of bean salads (my current favorite is piyaz!) and enjoying multiple servings each day.
π± listen to birdsong every day
listening to birds, in person or in videos and sound clips, instantly boosts my mood and makes me feel more connected to the world around me.
π± exercise my core
it feels so good to engage muscles I donβt ordinarily use, and helps tremendously with everyday activities. Iβve been trying to complete a core workout video every day, or see how long I can hold a plank.
π± exfoliate my body
this is the skincare step I always skip, but it makes such a difference in the overall look and feeling of my skin. Iβve been using both a sisal fiber brush and a new-to-me tool, a buffing bar, each time I shower. I focus especially on my legs, arms, and back.
